A Cob's Story

Harry was sent to us for training in July 2015. The 4 year old stud colt was barely started and being used for breeding. After 2 weeks, Andy called me into the arena and said "If you ever own a Cob stallion, it needs to be this one".  We didn't need a Cob stallion and we never talked about standing a stallion at JPH. It was a good thing Kelli Broers did not want to sell him.

Then, in the fall of 2016 the opportunity came to own him and we haven't looked back. Harry has exceeded our expectations in every way.

Harry first impressed us with his trainability and athletic abilities. He has a great work ethic and enjoys every job you give him. He excels over fences and always has a great presence in the show ring. The quality of Harry's gaits are exceptional.  He is fun to ride cross country, on the trail and has even worked cows.

In 2017, his first year showing, Harry was WPCSA High Point National Champion in the Cob Stallion and English Pleasure Divisions. That same year he went Champion in the C/D Hunters, English Pleasure and Breeding Divisions at the WPCSA American National in Tulsa.

2018 was equally as impressive and Harry was awarded the US Equestrian National Horse of the Year Welsh Cob Hunter Champion.

Harry's first baby for JPH arrived this year and we couldn't be more pleased. As expected, it looks like he is passing on his wonderful traits.
